This record was produced for Miguel Soares's ninth individual exhibition at Galeria Monumental. The public presentation of the CD Migso "002" in this exhibition had some high-resolution stills from the 3D video "Sparky" as well as the video itself, its soundtrack being one of the best tracks included on his CD.
This 30-track album was written and produced between September 2001 and February 2002 in Lisbon, using as musical references: Kraftwerk, Negativland, Roberto Musci & Giovanni Venosta, Raymond Scott, Aphex Twin, Tim Buckley, Buggles and others.

PRESS:

"Well, it's high time we've had an electronic music record with a sense of humour and a wide view on things. Miguel Soares, not unlike Kubik or Mola Dudle is part of a category of musicians to whom machines are cornucopia from which sweets, dreams, creatures, new lands, chocolate, ghosts and anything else our imagination may beckon spring forth. The synth, the sampler and the computer are the filters of an alternative reality encompassed by a personal vision and the effort to bring a range of many things together, owing also to the Producers excellent production work. (...) a quality in ideas, innovative and exciting solutions that's above average. Not to mention the fact that titles such as "Beer Canal", "Sparky", "Warp Reactor" or "Buzz Aldrin" are at Negativland-level. (8/10)" - Fernando Magalhães in Y, Público
